Purchased Brunton 25W Foldable Solar Array to be used on expedition of western China. The unit when used in combination with a AC/DC power converter and attached to notebook computer (13" Toshiba, new purchase on Amazon) did not charge sufficiently, weak trickle charge, and power converter screeched (low-power operational mode). The unit was useful for USB-charging through the AC/DC converter (Cobra). The cables that came with this set were lost, now I am finding no solution in replacing them with this manufacturer. Not exactly a success story with Brunton. Will update if the situation can be resolved amicably (and the charger does what it is intended to do for the $). Purchased directly from Amazon (free shipping option), not other resellers (perhaps a better option now).Brunton 26 Watt Foldable Solar Array If cable replacement is possible, please reply to this posting. I bought this for a camping trip. I would be gone for a week, and wanted to make sure my phones stayed charged. Even in somewhat cloudy conditions it charged my phones. I have an Iphone and HTC Touch. I could not charge both at the same time, but it worked great one at a time.

This is ok if you want a panel for something small but a person is better off getting the 52 cig model . I did after I had this one It just didn't have the power output I needed and the 26 always took all day to charge but the 52 cig was what I wanted fast charging more power, but keep in mind you need a battery as these will output over 18 volts DC and if you hook you 12 volt dc radio into the panel it will smoke it fast or get a 24 volt DC to 12 volt converter or voltage regulator to place in line with it.
