I have this unit with the steering wheel control and XM Radio options..
I chose this over the Pioneer models because this unit provides full bluetooth phonebook and music streaming support.
The only issue I have with this unit is its dual zone capability.
And that problem is..
You can only use the Radio or Satellite tuner with a video source at the same time in the front or back.
So you cannot listen to a CD up front, and play a video or music off a usb stick in the back.
That combination is just not an option.. sadly
I do not know why this limitation exists.. Its not a deal breaker for me, but i am really bummed i cannot do this, as this is one scenario I was planning on for long trips with the family.
I wonder if I can do this on Pioneer models?
UPDATE: After almost a month of use, I still love the unit, but it certainly seems to be a bit buggy.
Maybe its because I have the xm, and sterring wheel modules installed.. but it has locked up on me a couple of times already when navigating around different source inputs. I had to hard reset 2 times.
Also, my xm tuner frequently has issues of freezing up, and only a power reset fixes the issue.
I don't know if its a signal issue causing this, or if its the Audiovox tuner, or the JVC unit itself. My guess is that the Audiovox XM tuner is just a little fussy when being used with this unit.
Local Radio Tuner, bluetooth media streaming, movies off USB, and CD audio quality is amazing, and all work perfect.
The only issue I really have is with the XM radio frequently freezing up.
